Today we present our next guest in the series of European power exchanges: The Czech exchange and electricity and gas market operator OTE.
OTE is among Eastern Europe’s largest power exchanges in terms of traded electricity volumes and offers participation in the Czech day-ahead and intraday market. Like most other European power exchanges with similar size, OTE is part of SDAC and SIDC.
OTE has shown significant growth in intraday volumes (2900% from 2016 to 2021) whereas the day-ahead market volumes have been stagnating in recent years.
