Your Challenges
Assist in the design and implementation of optimization algorithms for energy markets.
Evaluate different optimization approaches (e.g., linear programming, mixed-integer
programming, heuristic methods).Work with historical and real-time electricity market data to develop and refine forecasting
models.Explore machine learning and statistical approaches for short-term and long-term price
predictions.Support the development and testing of tools to automate optimization and forecasting
processes.Your Profile
Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in fields such as Applied Mathematics, Electrical
Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.Programming experience in Python (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-learn, Pyomo) or a
similar language.Familiarity with optimization techniques (linear programming, dynamic programming,
stochastic programming).Experience with time-series forecasting or machine learning models is a plus.
Knowledge of energy systems, electricity markets, or battery technologies is an advantage.
Team player with good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Business fluent in written and spoken English; German is a plus.
Availability for more than 6 months.
